Ways you can get involved at the Y!

There are many ways you can get involved with the YMCA of Pulaski County, all you have to do is ask!

As a nonprofit we don't always have the resources to do what we would like for our YMCA. That is where volunteers like you come in to help!

Child Development Center: When volunteers come to our center we will have them fill out an " In-Kind" form and keep track of the hours. These hours help our Early Head Start program secure funding to help low income families afford Childcare. So come read to the kids, prepare a craft, or play a game in the gym! To get involved with our Child Development Center email our director at ccdirymca@comcast.net and set up a time.

Flower Garden: Our flower garden's around our Y are maintained by volunteer's from the Master Gardeners programs. If you are interested in helping out contact our program director at progdirymca@comcast.net

Community Garden: We have a small community garden in the back of the Y. This is to help offer fresh produce to communities near the YMCA. To help out and get involved again just contact our program director at progdirymca@comcast.net.

Aquatics: The YMCA has partnered with Pulaski County Schools to offer free swim lessons to all second grade classes. If you are interested in helping with our Second Grade Swim Lessons email our aquatics director at pcyaquaticsdirector@gmail.com.

Community Service: We employ a cleaning staff here at the Y.  However, with the load of the child care, locker rooms, and fitness centers daily cleaning tasks we are always open for extra hands in this department! You can contact our program director who will put you in touch with maintenance, progdirymca@comcast.net

Starting A New Program:  If you are interested in partnering with the YMCA of Pulaski County or starting up a new program. You can contact our executive director at execdirymca@comcast.net.

We hope to have you visit our YMCA of Pulaski County and become more involved in your community!
